RX data connection RX signal is drawed from the junction R44-DO4(1S188) with 10K ohm resistor. It must be connected to RX in of G3RUH modem 2. TX data injection You must inject both TX unit and Satellite unit if you need full duplex operation ( example for uosat4/5 ). The TX data injection point is DO5(FC-53)-C27 in TX unit and DO6(Fc-53)-C25 in SAT unit. You may be able to direct connect from TXD out of G3RUH modem as DC decoupling is in the modem board. 3. You need selection SW for TXD injection to select sinplex/full duplex operation. 73s. sueo @ uo-14, ao-16, lo-19, FO-20 ****************************************************************************** RE: FT726R Duplex ('Satellite') Op. - PART 2 of 2 IMPLEMENTATION: Remove top lid. Remove 'Satellite Unit'. Remove lid of 'TX Unit' immediately under 'Sat Unit'. Cut wire leading to Pin 5 of Connector JO 7 leaving 2 cm on connector side. - Solder 2 wires of different colour and 30 cm long to each of the cut ends. Make a note of colour and connection point. Solder another 30-cm wire of yet another colour to Pin 1 of Q32 (MC-14069UB). - Bring the 3 wires neatly out of the box using an existing opening. - Replace lid of TX Unit taking care not to nick any of the wires. - Reinstall the 'Sat Unit'. - Locate small PCB with 4 slide switches near LS. - Cut all copper lines to the 'BURST' switch. - Pin 1 of P 46 (the PCB connector) must be soldered to Pin 7, ground. Complete the circuit shown in Part 1.
