Turn radio on and set display for 12.345.6 then turn radio off then on. 5.) This enables the general coverage mode and a GEN display will come on and stay on at the top of the LCD display. 6.) Reassemble the unit. It will now transmit everywhere it receives, however Yaesu recommends that it only transmit from 1.8 - 30 MHz.
